Obviously they dont have feeling in the same sense that we do, but notice how when you mess with an ant hill, they scurry everwhere.

So say when your destroying an ant hill, is there any negative thing of any sort that they feel? Like do they feel angry or is everything out of instinct? Can they think like "c**p, out ant hills getting destroyed"? (Obviously not like that, but do they feel a stimuli? Or is everything just responsive?)

  1. It seems as though it makes them in some way anxious or agitated to destroy their ant hill.  They deviate from their normal routine to scurry around all crazy like.   So something negative must be being sensed for them to deviate from their normal routine to "panic".

  2. Yes, they get afraid and will do what it takes to protect themselves.  It might not be as complex as a human emotion but its still there.

  3. they have instincts that tell them to RUN!

    n there brain

    onli tells them

    to RUN!

    to EAT

    TO survive!

  4. ants are all the same not having reproductive organs and all that. they are programmed to do whatever they're born as, such as laborer, food gatherer, soldier, drone and whatever you call the ones who watch the larva. they are like your computer and the software downloaded to it. if you wanna see something cool, i've always liked the bridge building ants. they make an ant bridge across huge lengths. amazing...

  5. yup they feel all that we do in fact any living thing can. Also they even go to war with each other and the only other animal that does is humans.
