The President of Armenia Serzh Sarkisian officially invited Abdullah Gül to pay a historical visit to Armenia to watch Armenia-Turkey match together. And, Turkish President has accepted this invitation from his Armenian counterpart. However, the Armenian criminal of Orly Airport massacre, the ASALA terrorist Varujan Garbisyan is also on the official invitee list to watch the game with Turkish President.

So what is the ulterior motive of Armenia in inviting Varujan Garbisyan?

  1. Aren't "they" just silly.

    I guess "they" found it

    to be less provoking

    and intimating for the

    people of Turkey if "they"

    announced the President

    of Armenia had invited

    George W. Bush officially,

    rather a man who passed

    away 6 months ago of

    natural causes. lol

    I must at least credited

    you for your effort in

    trying to make BS

    appear provoking, it allows

    your prejudices to be

    easily noted.

    Carry on.....

  2. for heavens sake,he invited him to watch a football match together and to talk about thier 2 nations and the future,is that so bad? none of the turks today killed any armenians so that topic shouldnt even come up.

  3. No, I think Armenia needs Turkey and that is why they invited the president, to talk about maybe reopening the borders. Communication is the universal solvent. Hey, something great is happening here. Let's stop the controversy.

  4. hi, so why has The President of Turkey accepted this invitation?

  5. I heard on the news that Turkey demanded this news to be refuted and that Armenia did so.

It is always an option to walk away if a friendly gesture is abused by the other side.
