  1. Yes.

Think of all the jobs in a hospital. There's doctors, nurses, people that do paperwork, people that specialize on X-rays and other stuff.

Because there are combat hospitals, just about everybody within the Army Medical Corp can be deployed.

  2. Absolutely! No one is totally exempt! Except for maybe persons with recruiting duty and that is only while they have recruiting duty!

  3. Yes--even those who do not provide care for patients directly will have to be there for support--to keep the base running.

  4. You obviously don't want to go to war, so DON'T joint the Army (or military). Its as simple as that.

Yes, they all can be sent to war. Granted most of them will NEVER .. NEVER be in harm's way, they can still be sent.

But they are all needed for their various roles, whether it be the mental health specialist at the mental health clinic or the medical supply specialist working at the many CSH's around Iraq.

  5. The short answer is yes.

If those services are needed in a combat zone and you have the training, they can and will send you.  There is no MOS that is exempt from combat.

  6. Everyone goes.

  7. duh!
