Adebayor may well have burnt a few bridges after his over-zealous celebration for Manchester City against Arsenal back in September. He sprint the length of the pitch after scoring to celebrate his goal in front of the Arsenal fans – not a very wise move. And in the same match, he kicked Robin van Persie in the face. It’s probably safe to say he lost a few fans from north London – and at least one from the Netherlands - that day.
