  1. Art is inspired by life and life is inspired by art.  Sometimes we are touched by a work of art and we take the emotion with us.  And most times, an artist is touched by an event in life and desires to capture it to share with the world.  So it goes both ways.

  2. some of column A and some of column B.

  3. "Does art imitate life or does life imitate art?"

I would say that clearly art began by imitating life. There is plenty of evidence for this; even today, lots of artist's imitate the beauty they see in nature.

However, sometimes art is purely conceptual - sometimes artist's create something totally unlike anything found in nature. Often, people imitate this as well. That is, we imitate pop-art, cubism, modernism, et cetera. I think whatever we like, we tend to imitate it. Moreover, it seems fair to say that art imitates life while art is also imitated by persons, or 'life' if you will.

I think that this is consistent, of course - it rules no contradictions to hold that art is imitated by life and life imitates art: and why is this so? Because there exist different types of art, specifically the arts imitated and the imitated art.

  4. art often imitates life. because art is human effort to imitate, supplement, alter, or counteract the work of nature.

  5. Life DO imitaes atr. eW pissmel erevy othre werd and then neubodie knwos waht the fkcu we're talknig agout!
