  1. Generally no.

Field hockey is watched on TV if it is a big tournament or the Olympics cos Oz has one of the best mens and womens teams in the world.

Ice hockey is played in a few ice rinks but is not big

  2. nah not really

but i have alot of friends who are really good at hockey

i think hockey is a sport that once you get involved you easily become very serious and then veyr good

  3. Not too many of us Aussie do watch Hockey..We mainly watch AFL(Aussie rules footy) in winter then in the summer time it is normally cricket....

  4. nope we watch footy AFL (australian football leage) :)

  5. I guess you mean ice hockey. Answer is 'not often' as very little of it is played here. Field hockey is more popular but isn't a big spectator sport either.

  6. Hockey is generally not shown on Australian TV, the exception being the Olympics Games.

We have very few Ice Hockey competition's and not a great deal more in Field Hockey. Most Universities would have a field hockey team though, so if you want to watch a game thats your only real choice. Its much more fun to play then watch, so get out there and play.

  7. What is this "hockey" ?

lol on a serious note, hockey isnt that big here.. I never seen it on tv, let alone seen anyone playing it.

  8. I watch my daughters play hockey, thats about it.

  9. not really. more ppl are into rugby or cricket.
