So we got aggrivated and wanted to prove to them that baby mice do not carry diseases at such a young age! they look to be about a week or 2 old! They have a thin layer of fur! Is it possible for them to have diseases at such a young age? B/c we beleive that baby mice haven't been exsposed to enough stuff yet to get diseases like older mice might!!!! Pleaz answer our question so her parents will take a chill pill! lol! PLEAZ!!!!! =[

  1. My only concern would be Hanta Virus.  It does not exist in rodents in all areas..but if it does exist in your area you should be concerned.  It is basically transmitted to humans through the air from the f***s of the mice.  People usually get it when there are mice or rats in a closed in area with no ventilation and once f***s start to disintegrate, it can be breathed in by humans and transmit the disease.  If the mice are kept outside there would be less of a risk. BUT if this is a disease that is local..get rid of the mice, Hanta Virus is lethal.

  2. I don't know for sure, but I don't see why they -couldn't- carry diseases.

I mean, human babies can be passed on diseases and viruses from their parents, so why couldn't baby mice?

    Not a clue though.

  3. l'm not sure if they have any disease since they are young but you could check out this link http://www.thefunmouse.com/info/daybyday...

maybe you can find some help over their?

    hope this helps you.
