  1. All banks, post offices, and other institutions which buy your money charge commission. Even if they say "0% commission" they still charge it by offering less than the amount they will sell it to you for. Your best bet is to trawl the exchange rates offered by different companies, and pick the best rate.

  2. They don't charge commission as such, like all money exchanges, the exchange rate is different, to their advantage, when you change currency back.

There may be a valid reason for you wanting to change the Euros back, like current shortage of cash, but why not consider keeping them until you go away again then you won't pay the commission to buy them next time.

  3. Yes,  not a lot  but don't expect them to work  for nothing

  4. Change it at the airport as you get a better deal.

ALso they will only change notes ( no coins)

  5. phone them up.

BEWARE of the 'commision free' gimmicks!  they just s***w you with a lower exchange rate.

  6. they will do go, to thomas cook they reckon they have the best rate or just spend them in the shops all shops accept them?

  7. banks charge for everything, soon you'll have to pay to walk thru the door

  8. think so but probably wont be much

  9. Yes they will charge commission, they don't do foreign exchange as a free service.

Every time you exchange from one currency to another you are losing money. If it's not going to be long beofre you are away again you may be as well to just put the Euros away in a drawer or something until you do.
