Do Ben Stiller, Will Ferrel, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn all have some kinda deal?

They are all in the same movies, well mostly. Zoolander all four were in, dodgeballs, wedding crasher are just a few that atleast two of them are in. So whats the deal? Are they all really good friends or is it a coincidence?

its the frat pack. just cause their all in the same movies. well ben and owen r friends. so im guessing most are friendships.

Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, Vince Vaughn, Steve Carelle,Owen Willson and Luke Wilson are members of "The Frat Pack,"  The "Frat Pack" name is a reference to the film, Old School (2003), featuring Vaughn, Ferrell and Luke Wilson, due to the wide number of films featuring the seven actors. Stiller's "Frat Pack" films include Zoolander (2001), Envy (2004), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004)

Just like back in the 80s they had "The Brat Pack" which was Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall, Demi Moore, Rob Lowe, Ally Sheedy, Emilio Estevez and Andrew McCarthy.

There is also a group of directors who are in "The Splat Pack"

I doubt they have a specific deal.  I think what it is is that they are friends, and they all get along well.  Directors notice that, and they like to get people who work well together.  This happens with many actors.  Sometimes directors will pick a few actors because they have been in other movies together, and worked well together, or will pick actors over and over again because that actor works well with that director.  

I think its good too.  I love those guys (especially ben stiller) and they all work great with each other...really make the movies funny :D

PS who was vince vaughn in zoolander? was he derek's brother?

Go to wikipedia & look up frat pack then have a chart that has their names & the side of the chart shows the movies. It is very interesting. I don't know the reason but it is always easier to work with people get along with & they are making money. Also, Jack Black in included in that group & well go look it is very interesting.

Um unless you've been living under a rock (yes, I did just use that terminology) It's all over.  Watch rappers. Or Hollywood, friendships (George Lucas/Stephen Spildberg) or even better Bromance (George Cluney/Brad Pitt) Brotherships (Wilson's/Bladwin's) Or of course comedy inserts as you mentioned, and many other various forms of course .:)

they are all gd friends but directors tend to put them in the same films as they work really well together and have similar but individual humour works out well

yea i thought about the same thing...no it's not a coincidence...they def got some kind of a deal going. They all have the same type of humor so i assume they all get along...it's a good way to make bank because ppl will always go see a movie with them in it.
