Okay, I believe in God but I'm not Christian. I don't think I'm any specific religion but I believe in God. Not any kind.

I'm 14, btw. And bi.

And my parents is kinda thinking of going to a church since we don't.

But I heard if you're a Christian and you're g*y or practice g*y stuff you go to h**l.

Ehhh. So I have TWO problems.

1-If my parents decides to go, and they later on find out, they'd be PISSED especially they ABSOLUUEEETLYYYY hate g*y people. It's not even funny. Everytime they see a g*y person they go, "EW wtf is that THING doing on National TV."

2-I don't wanna go to h**l!!!!!

  1. I don't believe in h**l. But if I did, I'd think that God accepts everyone. Regardless of your sexual preferences. Do what you feel in your heart is your truth. Because like everyone who believes in God says, God is in your heart.

  2. Even the major monotheistic religions aren't specific on sexuality and judgment; at least according to the gospels. Most contemporary Christian sects however are against homosexuality of any kind and classify it as a type of "sodomy." However, there are many liberal Christian churches who accept people from all walks of life with open arms.

It seems to me that a young, open-minded person needs time to make theological decisions. So don't commit yourself to a religion until you're sure it coincides with your lifestyle.

  3. No. <3

  4. 1.) Going to church and you being bisexual is not a big deal; I've got friends that are bisexual and are Christian. Don't be afraid about being bisexual either. And if your parents truly love and support you, then I'm sure that they'll accept you for you.

2.) You aren't going to go to h**l if you're homosexual or bisexual. Human beings are human beings, regardless of their sexual orientation. No worries!=)

  5. Why would a loving God, who created people in his image, created all people including homosexual beings, then condemn them?  That does not make sense.  h**l may only be something religion created to keep people in line with the religions ideals, because that means pro-creation and more people, and more money for the church.  That's just my thoughts tho.

  6. Going to h**l is a choice. If you believe that there is a h**l, that God does condemn sin, then you have to make the choice of following God.

  7. Jehovah God doesn't want you to go to h**l either. h**l was not created for us it was designed for Satan and his angels. God does not send anyone to h**l. You make the choice to go. Christianity is defiantly a disciplined lifestyle. The Word of God says that no sin will enter into the kingdom of heaven, and the practice of homosexuality is a sin,but so is hating and mistreating people for being different from you,so is lying, cheating, peace breaking, back biting and all those other sins people tend to want to ignore about themselves. What startles me time and time again is all of the people who want to go to heaven with a God they don't even believe in or want to serve. The commandments in the Bible are not meant to hurt us or stop us from having fun. It's put there to protect us and guarantee us a spot in heaven with our Heavenly Father. You're so young.I hate to hear that you're going through something like this so early. However you are at the age of knowing right from wrong and I hope you do give the One True Living God a chance before you knock it.Because regardless of your lifestyle choice.God the Son died on the cross for your sins also, and God the Father loves you no matter what.Never let anyone tell you he does not.He created you and he loves you. He loves you so much that he allows you to make your own decision about him,and he'll never force himself on you.

  8. No I don't think g*y/ bi people go to h**l. I'm straight myself, but I think that if you're a good, wholesome person, ask God to forgive your sins often, you wont go to h**l.

As for your parents, I think they could make an exception to bi's for their child. Hopefully they love you unconditionally and will understand. Good luck :)

  9. you wont go to h**l

  10. God has set you aside for a very special purpose. He made you that way and loves you just the way you are. Also I don't believe He would want you to be lonely and without a help-mate. Your parents are uneducated on the subject. I was the same when my son came out to me. just remember, it will take them as long to accept you as it did for you to accept yourself. be patient yet firm. Stand your ground. In the end they will not give up a relationship with you that took a lifetime to build. meanwhile look for someone to be your mentor, a good person that you admire. many policemen, firemen, doctors etc. are g*y/bi

  11. 1) There's nothing wrong with being g*y or bisexual. It is normal, natural, and unchosen--for a minority of the population, of course. Science and psychology have shown us that being g*y/bi is due to prenatal hormones and genetics, basically causing your hypothalamus (part of your brain that controls love/s*x attraction) to be attracted to the same or both genders. There is nothing "wrong" with something like that. It's like saying being black or Asian is wrong.

    2) h**l is a myth. A loving God cannot send people to an eternal h**l of pain and torment. That's like having a square circle.

    Good luck with your folks.

  12. Even if you believe there is a God of some sort, it does not mean you accept the notion of h**l.

If you imagine your invented god to be somewhat reasonable, would you be able to synchronize that with the assumption that this god might create you as you are and them punish you in a cruel and unusual manner for being what you are created?

A number of people way back in time had some views about a lot of things and discussed them over several generations, and finally wrote them down for everyone else to assume they are true.

You have to decide for yourself whether any given thing they decided is relevant and or true.

  13. well i personally dont believe in god.

    but its really your opinion,,

do you think you'll go to h**l?

  14. Hey if you're going to be totally literal about the bible then you have a total out. Just do whatever you want and then confess everything on your deathbed to pull your a** out of the crack. God HAS to give you a freebie on this one. It's like when you have a really rockin pizza coupon but they don't take it when they come so you get to use it again.

  15. If God does not like g*y people, then why did He create us? Think about it.

  16. I might get thumbs down for this, but here you go: I do not believe in h**l. I think that h**l is a mythical place that religious people made up to scare people to become what they are. I, too, believe that there is a higher power, but I do not necessarily believe in the same God that the religious people say they believe in. As far as your parents, if and when they find out and you are not yet 18, you will probably have no problem, except for them trying to change your thinking. They will not throw you out into the streets. When you are 18, however, be prepared for them to not want to take part in your life. I know that this is ridiculous, but there it is. You need to be strong and brace yourself for whatever is going to happen.
