Do Blind People Have Dreams??

do they, i have had many proffesors say yes and others no, please help me decide my mind

The ones that are more likely to, are the ones that went blind after they were born. Like were 5 or whatever. Because they have memory of what things look like. And those that were blind at birth may or may not have dreams.

yes, they do. But, obviously, there is no image. It is all auditory and perceptive., However, if the blind person could see at one time in their life, they may have either regualr or non image dreams. It depends on how long they have been blind.

well if you're born blind, you probably won't be seeing anything in your dreams since you'd have no idea what anything looks like. maybe u'd just hear things as if you're only listening

for those that became blind after a certain age in which they can remember stuff from the past, then ya they probably can dream normally

but the real question is what would Helen Keller dream since she couldn't hear or see since birth?

How could someone so stupid become a professor?  Of course blind people dream.  Are you sure you didn't misunderstand?

Oh, and Helen Keller, come on, that's easy...  She would dream mostly in smells, taste, feelings, and emotions.  For all we know, she might even see colors and textures in her dreams.  I mean, just because she's never seen and identified them doesn't mean they don't exist, does it?  That goes for sounds too.

why yeah, you don't have to have vision to dream. Your mind can still work.

I have looked this up once and what google said is that yes, blind people do have dreams. But their dreams tend to focus more on smells and sounds then on color and pictures. In my opinion this is cool, it would seem very realistic that way.
