yes they do but some only play the blu-ray disk and not the DVD format. so be careful and look at the specifications.

Yes but they stink!!  You have to get on the net and download updates when you get it and almost every couple months or you can't watch new movies.  Also if you look around a read reviews you will find ALOT of them freeze up during movies especially regular  dvds. I have one and dont use it much because it is so annoying. (this is my second i returned the first it was so bad) If you still want one buy a playstation 3. It is as good as any of the others and at least you can use it for gamees.  If I were you i would just buy a good upscalling dvd player and wait untill blu-ray gets their c**p together and makes a decent product at a price that isn't ridiculous like they are now.  There is NO WAY any ANY blu-ray player is worth $300. I paid around 4 for mine and wish i didn't
