  1. Not usually. They're such big birds that you rarely see a bird house that could accommodate them.


  2. no, they tend to be nest "robbers".  they are really kind of rotten birds, despite their beauty.  they will kick other birds and their eggs out of a nest and take it over.

  3. No, they are not cavity nesters...usually birdhouses are meant to mimic a natural nest cavity in a tree.  Blue Jays build  open cup nests, not cavity nests.
