Do Brands of Boxing Gloves Matter?

Manny Pacquiao has said that he only likes to use Reyes Gloves but others like to use Grant, Everlast and others but does it matter what Brand of Boxing Gloves a Boxer uses?

All manufacturers have their own set patterns and method for sewing and padding their gloves. Each have their own merit or defect, so to speak. It's a personal thing, comfort, fit, ability to make a proper fist. Some quality is better than others. I personally think GRANT in a fight glove is best, while the perfect training glove IMO, is made by Dan Mosby of FLORES, in California. Very hand safe and the highest quality.

reyes is good because their gloves are designed for boxers who are hard hitters.. same with grant..

Pacman trains with winning gloves but uses reyes gloves for fights..

winning gloves have extra padding for protection and for boxers who injure their hands easily..

I have grant gloves.. They are awesome

reyes are for fast heavy hitters everlast are for slower but more powerful hitters.
