Do Brayces hurt while they put the on???

I am getting Brayces soon and i dont know if they hurt while they are putting them on. Do they?

first off its braces. and no they do not hurt while putting them on but they do hurt afterwards if u have tylonole and motrine they you will be good to go!

Braces don't hurt when you get them on.  The hard part is when they tighten them to move your teeth where they want them.  This whole process will make your mouth a bit sore, it will be worth it though when they come off.  I wore my braces for 5 years and I am so glad I did.  Remember to always comply with what your dentist says!

they hurt,but not that much , the first time you will feel uncomfortable,especially when your eating,each time you bite you will feel the pain(not that much)

it's a little awkward and uncomfortable with all the tools and things they have to use, but it really doesn't start to hurt until later that day. after that it really aches for a couple of days. just keep plenty of soft foods in the house and you'll be fine.

While they are putting them on it does not hurt at all. After a few hours when you are home you wil start feeling the pain for 3 days.
