Do British people like their anthem? I think your anthem is ridiculous because it only talks about the queen, nothing about the country and its people. Why are you so submissive to the royals?

The monarch is a unifying factor to the British. You are perhaps too young to remember World War II, when, through the Blitz, the King and Queen remained in London. The King, though a retiring fellow who was uncomfortable speaking in public, helped to keep the British determined and proud. Too, there's more than one 'anthem' in Great Britain. In any case, why are you so affected by your dislike that you sink to being rude and disrespectful?

I think the royal family is a total waste of our time and money.

I wouldnt miss them if they all dropped off the face of the earth,

we pay for all of their expensive airplanes, trains, cars ect ect

the anthem is totally outdated and you are right in my opinion most British peeps are submissive to the royal family (god knows why )

can anybody answer the question- why wern't the  'WINSORS'  exiled out of Britian after the 2nd world war as they are of German origin .
