im not exactly a bulls fan but i will be rooting for dereck rose. anyway its not just bulls fans that get irritated when people call kobe the next Jordan. you cant compare the two. Sure kobe has skill, but he isnt a legend like Jordan is. When u hear Jordan, u think flashy dunks, nice fadeaway. when u hear Kobe, u think RAPE. Lebron can be compared to Jordan in maybe 10 more years

As a Bulls fan back to the d**k Motta coached teams with Chet Walker and Butterbean Love, I don`t think Bulls fans really give a whole lot of thought to the comparisons between Kobe and MJ. Kobe is a wonderful player in this era, but cmon, when Paul Pierce and this years Celtics ( No disrespect Beantowners ) shut him off like a water faucet, can you imagine what the Bad boy Pistons would have done to his game, ego, and psyche. MJ was incredible to watch. He litterally willed the Bulls to victory some nights. He won SIX>>>thats right SIX NBA titles with the likes of Bill Cartwright and the legendary Luc Longely at center. Like I said Kobe IS a fine player, but he ain`t no Michael Jordan! No self-respecting Bulls fan would really even get twisted bout such a farcial comparison

Its not irratating too much its just not a good head to head comparison if you are comparing them from man to man or just as players, Jordan is very intelligent and well rounded person. This shows in how he conducts himself in public as for Kobe he mimics Jordan. As players they both are very talented but Jordan has the edge every time. Kobe is a great player but he's not Jordan!

As a Bulls fan, it doesn't really bother me because I know Jordan is still wayyy better than Kobe is.
