Do Burton boards work only with burton bindings or can i use any other brand ?

i want to get a new freestyle burton board, but dont want to spend on new bindings, i have a santa cruz bindings, i wanna know if i can use them with burton boards or have to buy burton bindings too

I'm pretty sure Santa Cruz bindings do not come with a 3-Hole adaptor disc.  The brands that I'm aware of are Flux and Technine.

Yes they can... but you need an adaptor.

Burton use 3 pin fixings, while other boards use 4 pin

Shops that stock Burton and other makes should be able to help you

Burton bindings can be used on any board.  The bindings will come with either two sets of plates: one for a burton board and one for a regular board, or one set of multiplates that can be used on any board.  I got the 2008 burton stilettos and they came with a multiplate and I put them on my k2 board.
