  1. No they can't deflect laser guns and cameras and yes they are illegal because they can reflect sunlight into the eyes of an oncomming driver and cause an accident.


  2. Mythbusters Proved this otherwise in one of their episodes. Also dangling objects hanging in front of your windshield count as obstruction of vision, yes it is illegal, though no cop will ever pull you over for it.
