I'm assuming you are talking about who runs the company, so I'm working off that...

Typically, the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) runs the day-to-day operations of a business (although s/he will have senior management, junior management and middle management beneath him to actually delegate the work to others).

The President CAN run the business but often times does not handle the daily duties and focuses more on the strategic aim/focus of the company overall.

Often the CEO and President are the same person.  Other times, it is split up...typically depending upon the size of the company/corporation.
