That's where we get the word Caucasian.  Y'know, it's funny, it doesn't mean 'white.'  I've met some VERY dark Caucasians, and some VERY fair-skinned Africans.  It's all about the name.

Ah the problems of race. There are three main races: Caucasion, *******, Mongoloid. There are sub-races of these. The concept of Race was developed by anthropologist to track migration routes.  Caucasion does come from the Caucasus, because most european races can be traced back to there.  Unless you are over 10,000 years old, race has very little signifigance.  Advances in travel have nullified any reliable tracking methods.  

If you have to walk you will only do so because of 1)lack of food 2)bad climate or 3)overpopulation.  Many tribes were nomadic, but they can be traced to animal migrations.
