Of course they should be allowed to keep what they've earned, but does their communist government allow it?

  1. Um? Of course, why wouldn't they?

Are you talking about the women's gymnastic controversy

  2. they are not communist...  extreme states such as communists and democracies don't exist.  ancient greece would be the only one democracy state that ever existed.

im not trying to be mean or something, but your question is dumb.  China is not the mid-evil dark place cnn or nbe claims it to be.

  3. Yes they do keep them.

Contrary to popular belief, the Chinese government, while claiming to be communist, does not actually interfere much with the affairs of the people, no more than the US uses it's networks to spread anti-Chinese propaganda. They are not unreasonable people. They do complain when things are unfair, and they do so often. A truly educated person would be able to see that BOTH nations spread propaganda via their media, both nations have equally distasteful problems, and both nations have equally good people. I actually took a course at a well regarded university where we analyzed propaganda in media around the world. It's quite shocking once your eyes have been opened to it all. Most of the time, you don't even notice that there is propaganda at work. It is OK to get some information from the media, but there is not ONE, not one case where they have reported the entire story in an objective manney. Why? Because reporters have a limited amount of time. You cannot expect them to live there for five years and understand the situation, especially regarding culture. They can only focus on what propaganda dictates and what people will want to hear. You will not understand China from the Western media. Likewise, the Chinese media isn't great at reporting Western issues. You should understand, though, that there are universal values shared between the Western world and China, even though 99.99% of the culture is vastly different, although often, many people try to mitigate these differences. There is no better set of culture or values. These are two different sides of human culture. You cannot destroy one or the other and you should not comment, speculate, or try to speak authoritatively on the culture of other peoples when you are not one of them.

  4. No the Commies gather them together and melt them in a large pot for the production of gold tainted toys for Americans. Since it's gold not lead now, who can say Chinese products are of low quality?

  5. who knows

  6. Cuz they earned it?

  7. I often wondered that myself.

I think they might put them on display somwhere.

  8. No, the commies melt it down for the good of China.
