No. But this depends on your definition of s*x and virginity.

Many Christian teens who pledge to not have s*x until marriage actually substitute anal and/or oral s*x for vaginal intercourse, thinking that god allows it if you do it in another body o*****e.

Depending on your definition of s*x and virginity, it could mean yes, they do stay virgins or no, because they have already been devirginized anally and/or orally.

Generally speaking no.  That doesn't mean it's not a worthwhile goal to strive for.

Here's the facts as best I can find them:

Approximately ~95% of both males and females have s*x before they're married (in the US, no idea for other countries.)  

The approximate population of the US is ~305 million people.

Approximately 75% of the population of the US is christian of some denomination.

If you go with the assumption that on average as many Christians remain virgins as atheists or other religions then the simple math says that of the 305,000,000 in the US, only 15,250,000 remain virgins till marriage while 289,750,000 have s*x before being married... or 1 in 20 people on average.

Based my personal experience of living 31 years, deflowering more than a couple virgins personally and knowing the ages of just about everyone around me who lost their virginity, I'd guess about 1 in 15 to 25 is about the right range.  Of the people I deflowered all but one were christian of some denomination.  Of everyone I was friends with in high school only one person remained a virgin till 21 years of age and she still ended up having pre-martial s*x (and incidentally now also has had almost 3x the partners I've had... unrelated but interesting none the less.)

Edit: (Keep in mind also that a lot of the numbers I'm reporting are in retrospect in the 13 years since my graduation and not at the time... at the time a lot of the women were claiming to have never had s*x, but in conversations over the past few years I've been told by many of them that they lost their virginity at 15 - 16 years old to their first crush or something similar and were just to worried that people would call them a s**t that they didn't admit it then.)

my wife's mother (a life long roman catholic which neither my wife or i am) told her if a guy asks for s*x tell him no not till i am married. my virginity is the wedding gift i will give him and no one else. if he stays he is the one if he leaves he only wanted one thing and would have left after he got it anyway. well here we (my wife and i) are 24+ years later still enjoying absolutely phenomenal s*x and btw what a honeymoon she could have given me $1 mill but it would nat have been as good as what she did give me a gift that can only be given ONCE
