Do Coast Guards Go Out To Sea In A Hurricane?

I need some one to answer this who knows the actual answer, whether it's in a boat or helicopter do they go out to sea to rescue?

No they do not. They mostly have desk jobs.

They go out only if they have to and can.  They have significant heavy weather training.
