Question:

Do Colleges Ask for a Proof for My Community Service and Extracurrics?

Actually I'm an international student so I'm not really that familiar with how's the deal going in the US. I will be applying to several college and all of which are colleges that are highly selective and I'd need to do my best on every application.

So what I'm worried about is that I only have one copy of each certificate and proof I had from a club, a team that I was a part of, and that also applies for companies I've worked for. So would ALL the colleges I'm applying to require the proofs? Because I'm worried how the h**l I'm going to give all of them the certificates all at once?

  1. I never had any colleges ask for proof of extracurriculars; however I was not a foreign student. You should keep those documents, and if they ask for them see if you can send a copy. Usually though, if a college wanted to verify something like that they would contact the person in charge and ask them.

  2. No.  Well I have been enrolled at 3 and they may ask for a resume if you stated professional experience but never proof of community service or membership of organizations

  3. no.
