  2. Yes, all members of the dog family (Canidae) have claws. However, they are not retractile the way those of cats are, meaning that they are blunt from constant contact with the ground. They are used rather like the spikes on running shoes, to give the animal a better grip on the ground, and are not used for hunting or fighting. The marks made by the claws are clearly visible in coyote tracks, here's an image:

  6. Claws?  Well yes.  Usually they are referred to as nails.  Yes, coyotes have them.  You can see them easily in the coyote track.  Unlike cats, a dogs nails are not retractable.
