With him being a bust - or at least looking like one now since his average has went down every month (he is hitting in the .140's this month), do Cub fans still buy the headbands and silly stuff at the games?

  1. In recent years theres been a surge of fake cubs fans. Transplanted metrosexuals from the east coast, or where ever. Who really know nothing about the cubs or baseball.  They just like living near wrigley field  and going to the games to be noticed.  Thus they "men" wear their tight pants and g*y fukodome bandannas and act like fools.

  2. There was nothing more stupid looking than some fat woman in her 40s wearing a Fukudome headband, waiving a "W" flag. I hope this trend dies like Fukudome's average.

  3. he's still doing well in the field..... as he should for being in the slump he's in. I'm sure the newness has worn off but they are still buying / selling Fukudome garb. I'm not one to worry about what he's doing at the plate right now, teams have "figured him out" but he's a smart ball player & will "figure them out" as well........ just in time for the playoffs.

  4. Probably. cub fans are morons.

  5. As a Cubs fan, I am getting real sick and tired of Fukudome. We spent millions of dollars on him to come to the Cubs from Japan and carry this team. I say give him another shot next year though ans see what happens because he brings a great glove to the outfield and has great patience. And his patience seems to rub off on the rest of the team with their amount of walks easily surpassing 2007.

  6. Scrub fans are sheep who will follow any trend that anybody starts up, so yeah they will still wear those stupid headbands even though he sux.  The best Japanese baseball player Chicago ever had is Tadahito Iguchi and he has a World Series ring for his efforts.
