  1. yeah they do.. i should know i have a ton and they are on my credit report :(

  2. Yes they do. They send your account to a collection agency and once that happens, it's on your credit report. Call the hosptial and set up a payment plan, they will work with you once they see that you are willing to pay.

  3. I hope Miles C was joking in his answer, because he is all wrong.

Medical accounts can and do show up on your credit report if they are not paid. This is pretty much standard procedure.

Now of course the credit bureaus will not be understanding (they couldn't care less, honestly) but your creditors will be a little more understanding. They won't overlook them completely, but they will be alot more willing extend you credit than if you just had a bunch of credit cards get charged off.

  4. Hi, Ramey

There is no reason they should, because, after all, you are not to blame

You had a run of bad luck, and thankfully, credit bureaus understand this

I admit I like for people to call me, we chat, feel comfortable, and then I can drop the bombshell, we understand, because we are part of the "village"
