  1. no i feel that she is a dud and Mccain made a huge mistake in picking this booger from his nosey!

  2. Not really.

She's a religious kook with some family history.

    Mostly it's just really funny.

    Well

It would be if she wasn't so close to being in charge of the whole country.

  3. Only if she is elected.

  4. this woman is a huge threat to the democrats why else would they attack her ,daughter , call a baby with down syndrome "defective"

democrats are seething with rage over her because they know she will push mccain over the top

  5. I suggest people study her political career and ask the questions directly to her in a notarized and registered letter and include direct phone lines.  People here will twist the truth and facts.  If Gov Palin has the answers by an assistant, then you will find out about sincerety.

  6. No, but she is fun to pick on.

Really, I think democrats are still trying to decide what she is. She isn't an obvious threat, nor is she a huge drawback on McCain. She has skeleton, such as her love for earmarks for Alaska. Also that she was picked to run with a man with anger management problems and sexist issues following him everywhere.

  7. I don't.

  8. No.  Thus far, the Democrats haven't said a word about Palin.  Biden briefly and gentlemanly stated that Palin's family issues were not anyone's business.  Obama has wisely remained silent.  The rabid news media are the ones making a big deal about Palin's kid being knocked up, Palin's extra-marital affair, and any other hijinks.

Palin is not the presidential candidate, so unless McCain kicks it within the next two months, the Democrats won't really care much one way or the other.

  9. No.  Quite the contrary, she has been more of a benefit for the Democrats.  McSame's choosing her was a desperate ploy designed to win over disaffected Hillary supporters.  Most will see right through the sham as Palin is a polar opposite of Clinton.

Actually, liberal Republican Giuliani or neocon "independent" LIEberman would have been more of a threat to Democratic chances at taking the White House as they have much more appeal to independent and moderate voters than ultraconservative Palin would.

  10. Nope. The sugar coating will soon come off. She is for "small government" yet is the governor of ALASKA, the #1 state in pork barrel spending and subsidies. It'll all come out in time when the initial excitement wears off.

Kevin, was it a Democrat or someone trying to make some noise? We'd appreciate proof of your outrageous remark with a link, please.

  11. No, the Republicans do. She is a liability to them. It looked like she was on the way out until her speech the other night. I hope McCain keeps her as it gives Obama more of an edge.

McCain wants to leave family issues out of the mix. Especially children he says. I could not agree more. Leave Sarah Palin's children and grandchild-to-be alone. But what was he thinking , some years ago, when he called Chelsea Clinton "ugly" because "Janet Reno is her father." ?

What's this "No Opinions" nonsense? We can give you all the rhetoric and facts there are but without examination, critical thinking and healthy debate what is there? You are just back at facts. Gave up opinions for Lent, did you? The rest of us kept and need ours.

  12. She is a threat only to the extent that she can and will say anything she wants and the Republican base will NOT check out the facts.

  13. Not the least bit.

I would have been more scared of Romney for sure, but now it's going to be a cakewalk for Obama.

    Thanks guys!

  14. The 26 yr old male in me wants to say...  YES.  She is a threat to Levi Johnston's freedom!

    But thats just a joke.

No, she is not a threat

  15. No.She's not a moderate. She's extreme on things like abortion, and she advocated abstinence only education. That's a stupid thing. She also wants creationism to be taught in school. I don't think majority of the independents or moderates would be in line to vote for McCain/Palin

By the way,if you think that Democrats are threatened by her because we're questioning her, then I can say the same about you Republicans. You relentlessly questioned Obama and spread false rumors about him. So going by your logic, you must be threatened as well

@ Fred W,that's hilarious considering that Republicans actually attacked Michelle Obama and used her in ads in some states. I don't see Democrats doing that to Palin

  16. They have been attacking her family. Thats fear 101.

  17. No, she has extreme views that are not in tone with independent voters. McBush will continue Bush's policy & she is on his ticket. So no, she is amusing.;-]

  18. If I were used to believing cry baby Clinton was a hero and saw a tough self made woman on the stage it would be a bit threatening.

  19. I don't feel as though she is a threat.

  20. They seem to think she is a threat to all the fawning attention lavished on Obama.  She is a show-stealer and if there is one thing they want it is to keep the limelight on their showman.

She is a straight-talker and that appeals to a lot of Americans (but not Dems, who sneer at the 'simple' folks who tell it straight).

She is good at poking fun at her opponent, Obama, who is the sort of icon the left do not want ridiculed.

She is a strong woman who would be in line for the next Presidency, attractive to former Hillary backers.

  21. Based on the hysterical reactions from the mainstream media and the response here they are terrified.

    Only they know why.

  22. threat to WHAT?

  23. Yes they are.  The personal attacks don't seem to be letting up.  The media which is known to be Obama fanboys print comments like these:

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB12203971...

  24. Here are the facts,  Obama is leading by six points in nationwide polls.

    Just the facts.

  25. I don't know about the rest of the Democrats, but I think Palin is a joke.

  26. I'm glad she was picked because I think it gives McCain less of a chance of winning.

I don't agree with her on almost all her views.

The only thing that scares me about her is she is fanatical about her religion which can be dangerous.

  27. No.  But I think they need to refocus on McCain.

  28. Wait.. you're asking us how they feel yet you don't want opinions.  I'll give you one fact though. If they didn't feel as through she's a threat they wouldn't be so quickly and aggressively attacking her on anything and everything they can.  They would instead be more focused on McCain.
