  1. Yes

  2. depends on the school. Some schools do some don't. you can always ask the finiacal aid office.

  3. DII schools are able to give full scholarships.  To tell if your school does, the best thing to do is try to contact the softball coach, if you can't reach the coach then try to at least get in touch with the athletic director or someone from the athletic staff.

While division II schools can give full scholarships to athletes, it is not as common as in D1 schools, because DII schools do not receive as much money from the NCAA to use for scholarships.  Also, in most schools, basketball and football have more scholarship money then any other sports.

In some DII schools, they may not be able to give you a "full-ride" on an athletic scholarship, but if you have good grades they may be able to give you a combination of a partial institutional academic scholarship and a partial athletic scholarship that would equal a "full-ride."  Also at DII schools you are eligible to play more then one sport, so that may be an option for you as well.

Just contact the athletic office and the financial aid office at the school or schools you want to attend.  Good luck!
