I'm pretty good at soccer and I want to know If I play varsity soccer for a Divvision III univesity, will I have a chance to catch a talenthunter's eye to make it to any MLS team?

Or is this reserved for Division I? Ivy League?

  1. Ivy League isn't good at sports.  There are some exceptions, but the Ivy League is Div I but doesn't give sports scholarships, so they don't attract most of the best athletes.  Division I would definitely get the most attention.  Div III, you're not getting any money for sports so you probably won't get much attention - they're not allowed to give sports scholarships.  If you're amazing, you might, but they'll mostly pay attention to Div I.  Div I generally attracts the best athletes because of the athletic scholarships, so the scouts will mostly focus on those schools.  I'm not certain on this, though, and you do have SOME chance from a Div III school, just not as good a chance as at a Div I school.
