Do EU citizens need a visa to work in the United States?

I am a citizen from Spain, I know I can travel as a tourist and stay for 3 months without one but I'd like to know if that includes the permission to work or not, Thanks a lot.

  1. The visitors visa and a work visa are two very different things with the work visa being the hardest to get. You would need to get an employer to apply for you as a sponsor.

    When traveling on the Visa Waiver Program which you mentioned, you absolutely cannot work. It's only for purposes of tourism.
