Like the article said, it just lost particles that are crashing onto our magnetic field and make sound. It's a scary sound though.

Well, technically it isn't exactly the Earth screaming. I mean, it is not coming from the earth, just the magnetic waves and solar particles striking.

the usual shoddy science "reporting". there is nothing new about any of this.

earth's natural vlf radio emissions have been known and studied for years. this includes akr, the dawn chorus, whistlers, and other goodies. they're really cool.

Whatever it is it can't be crying. It has no eyes.

And it's not even alive itself for that matter.

So it's emitting sounds that we compare to the sounds of crying. I can't find it even remotely like crying.
