I heard they make it so your arteries constrict, reducing blood flow in the body and you could have a heart attack. Is this true? Also are the energy drinks with no sugar/carbs all right to drink?

  3. thins your blood making your heart pump faster, which in a unhealthy person, could cause a heart attack. also from Brown university board of health:"Energy drinks' stimulating properties can boost the heart rate and blood pressure (sometimes to the point of palpitations), dehydrate the body, and, like other stimulants, prevent sleep."
