  1. The pro business and industry neocon bull dogs would like you to think so. This way they can make their billions much easier until there is nothing left to pillage.

Most not all environmentalist, would like a balance between necessary and unnecessary damage of the environment. There are some that go over board that give credence to the bulldogs arguments. Wish they would stop that and go with the middle of the road ones that seem far more sincere in their agenda`s.

So, no environmentalist do NOT hate humanity!

  2. You do realize that a lot of environmentalism benefits mankind? Clean drinking water, clean air, and foods that aren't contaminated with cancer causing chemicals are somewhat useful to people.

  3. may be because of their ways of destroying environment .

  4. No, just un-happy with short sighted, ingnorant and greedy people.

  5. The extreme ones probably do but they are insane anyways.  The moderate environmentalists just want us not to pollute and degrade the environment in ridiculous ways that are not sustainable.

  6. I think what Environmentalists hate is human arrogance.  People seem to think that the earth is their personal pantry and their garbage dump.  People look to their own benefit and ignore the effects on the other inhabitants of our planet.  Too many people are greedy.  If we look at the way we make decisions in a long enough term, good environmental policy and good economic policy are identical.  What good is money if we have ruined our life support system?  Native Americans had it right.  They considered the effect on the seventh generation ahead.  If we all did this, we wouldn't be having environmental problems.

Conflict between economics and the environment exists because economics is based on  a lie.  Economics says things are going badly if we don't continue expanding indefinitely.  Science says we live on a planet with finite resources.  Infinite expansion within a finite environment is inevitably a recipe for disaster, as we are learning.

  7. No, they just want to have complete and total control over it. It's all about POWER, and we are handing it right over to them with a great big "THANK YOU!"

"Thank you, environmentalists, for taking away all my rights, freedoms, money, and food so that the trees, and animals can be happy! Or wait...is it so YOU can be happy? Oh whatever, here you go, socialists--I mean communists--I mean environmentalists!"

  8. i dont know about that if they hated humans than they wouldn't be environmentalist cause they protect forest so wee can have clean air me im 11 year old  version of a zoologist

  9. It sure seems like it, doesn't it?

  10. only the morons (like yourself) who refuse to see the big picture.

Is it impossible to live within our means and not destroy the planet in the process?

  11. Yes and no.

In the abstract, they actually worship mankind, assigning to our collective species the power to destroy the entire planet for all living things, and to individuals (those educated in Ecology, I guess) the ability to design a static and sustainable Ecosystem.

In designing that system, they equate an individual human with any other possessor of Lifeforce, none individually more important than any other.  That's close to "hate", I guess, to think that a human embryo is equal to an unfertilized egg is equal to a cancer patient in pain is equal to a meter-maid in Ontario on her lunch break.

They overlook the fact that the Universe is anything but static.  Everything changes.  Some species adapt and survive, others do not.  Over time, most find something they cannot adapt to.  Man is probably no different in the very long run.  If that's how it works out, the trees won't care.
