Why foreigners think that Brazil is Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo and a desert? Only because you don't heard about the other states and cities it doesn't mean they're poor.

Espírito Santo is a bit poorer than São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro but the difference is not visible.

Now, the capital of Espírito Santo (Vitória) is a very violent and hot city, I advice you not to live there. MY OPINION.

No. Espírito Santo is the less developed state in Brazil´s southeast region.

no,  it is not.  It's not even closer.  Just so you know there are other states more advanced in southern BR than ES.

Yes, the Espirito Santo's technology is almost the same of São Paulo and Rio, but I think that the good opportunities are in São Paulo 'cause factories, and the greatest companies are there too...
