  1. .

  2. No, they don't.  Some of the common fakir tricks are listed below:

1: The fire-ball, in which they throw "dirt" through a torch to make a scene.  They actually throw a special mix containing flammable powder.

2: The rope charming trick.  This is actually done by hypnotism, and thus only works on the suggestible.

3: The bed of nails.  You probably already know this is bunk.

4: Astrological cures.  A skeptic debunked this one by sending an unmarried man into a fakir's hut.  He was told that his wife was causing him trouble and was given an amulet.  Oops!

  3. Don't imply with your "some say yes" comment that anyone other than *you* says yes.  Fakirs are fakers.  I know it, you know it, everyone knows it.  They are illusionists and nothing more.

  4. How much r the yes people getting paid? That is the real question

  5. So then some say no?

  6. Yes we do..

  7. May be some do distant hypno-telepathy- but this is not paranormal- in criminal search or in prison  these methods are also practiced .

  8. Those fakirs are always fakiring with me with their mind

powers.  Those fakirs better faking knock it off.

  9. You mean the "fakirs of India",I guess. No they have no powers.Superstition is one of the things holding India Back.Despite a hard-working population it remains mired in the third world. Here's a link to some information you'll find interesting.
