Do Finnish Spitz dogs interact well with cats?

We are looking for a dog. We have one cat. We want a dog that's not big but not a little yappy dog. Would a Finnish Spitz be good. We are open to other suggestions.

go to your local dog pound and look. ask about getting a puppy. so that it will be raised around the cat.
