  1. No they aren't like that unless he has been talked to ALLOT in French & has picked up on it,i doubt it though!

    Hope this helps. x*x

  2. Oui

  3. Cats don't understand any language.  But I and many others believe that they can learn to recognize the meanings of certain words.  Some of it is body language, tone and context.

If you keep working with her she'll pick things up.

Luckily the word for no is very similiar in both languages.

  4. Well no...

    It doesn't even know French.

    It's a cat.

Though I'm pretty sure it knows Thai. (Siamese cats teach every1)

  5. No, it will begin to learn English. You have to be consistent in your language to the cat, but he will begin to understand you..

  6. I am an American who lives in Mexico. I just recently got a dog and at first he would only respond to me in Spanish. It's not that cats and dogs actually speak a certain language. :) They just grow accustomed to the commands they have been given all their lives. For example, my dog knew how to sit when I said it in Spanish. But later I just started pushing down his bottow when I said "SIT!" in ENgish and little by little he learned! Just be patient and repeat yourself a lot with your cat. It will learn too.
