Do Girls like these types of guys...?

Question

I'm usually really reserved and respectful towards girls and I noticed how girls don't see me as "dating material". Plenty of times I have been told I'm way to nice and sweet. I really can't stand being called that cause I try so hard to change.

All my friends say I need to loosen up and act more "playerish". And I know that will only get me the "easy" girls (sorry if I offended anyone) :p

Anyway can you ladies tell me if you like the nice, sweet, shy guys or do you go for the overly confident player?

i hate players, but i also hate having to go after the guy myself. and confidence is absolutely necessary! haha, but good for you not going for the easy girls, that's a good quality. sweet smart boys usually do find a girl. if you're not in college yet just be patient.

I have dated guys that were like players because they are pretty confident but I would always end up getting hurt and they never wanted a real relationship..

I'm 21 now and I want the nice and sweet guy.. The kind that won't control me.. Don't ever change-you have great qualities!!! The right girl will see them and you'll be able to have a meaningful relationship.. good luck!

I would prefer the nice, sweet, and shy guys over a player any day.  At least with a nice guy, you know that they are not just after s*x and that they really care about you.  Players are whack.

Most of them say that they prefer the nice guy, but tend to go for the player.  You don't want that kind of girl.  It may take you longer to find her, but you'll be happier if you just wait for the kind of girl that will like you for who you are right now.

i hate overly confident players. :P  i like nice, sweet, sensitive guys. but being shy is kind of bad. you should talk to girls and they will probably like you more.

Here is the entire problem, you are way to nice...and in no other words....TOO EASY for the girls. They look at you like whatever they say you'll believe....and you wouldn't be a challenge to them. Who likes playing a video game that is so easy to beat? It might feel good for 20 minutes and then it's like....ok...I need a new game I'm bored.

You have to look at girls maybe in a way you weren't thinking. Make them WANT you, and then don't give. What makes a girl so special that her qualifications for getting a date with you because THEY LIKE YOU! You have to make them want more and be a challenge. Don't always give them what they want (actually rarely what they want). The more a guy acts like a jerk the more a female wants him!

definately not a "playerish" guy, but definately one with a great sense of humor. you can be nice sweet and shy but have a great sense of humor.

I like sincere guys, that is the quality that separates out friends from boyfriends for me. Whether they are overly confident, or shy. Either type. I tend to more often "notice" guys who are confident and you could say "stand out in a crowd" however I have had totally huge crushes on shy guys too. Don't change! I'm sure a lot of girls are totally into exactly what you are like, they just might also be too shy to tell you!!

I was the same as you bro, except, I went through a revelation, I saw the light, the next day I was hanging out with girls I was all over them, hitting on them, it was amazing. Just, talk to them, be sensitive, don't be a horny guy, and don't make s*x jokes every minute, cause its annoying.

Girls like me because I'm confident, sensitive, nice, sweet, polite, and have MANNERS and I don't consider myself a player. Just flirt with them sometimes, thats all you gotta do.

I know I can't speak for all girls, but personally I prefer nice guys. The worst thing about someone is one who tries to be something they aren't, so don't listen to your friends and act "playerish". Maybe that girl for you is just around the corner and may be turned off by that. You're fine. Just stay the way you are.

Confidence is attractive, but there's a difference from being confident and arrogant. Some people have that mistaken and become total d*ckheads.

well personaly i like the sweet nice guys but the sad thing is (not to offend anyone) lots of gurls go for jerks and players. trust me u will find a gurl that likes the sweet guys i do
