Do Host families (for EF) get paid ?

Host families that work with the high school levels of CSIET certified programs, of which EF is one, do NOT get paid! Host families for college students, on the other hand, can charge rent.  The programs work in different manners.

An "exception" for high school families is if the student breaks something in the household while living there -- the family can be reimbursed for that. Usually the students' insurance will cover it.
