Do I Have Bipolar thoughts??

I Don't consider me to be an emotional person, but i tell one person everything, and a can get very sensitive and talk about myself....i say sorry alot ot her for this and she said she doesn't mind, but anyway, i tell her things usually they are not nice things and i say one thing and i mean it and the next day i say something completely opposite of what i said the day before and get all happy, its confusing, im 16 and i think my thoughts are bipolar? is that possible?

  1. I think you're reaching for an answer to a problem that's not really there.  Do you have violent mood swings?  Do you wake up in the morning happy, and then at breakfast do you cry only to be laughing again as you walk out the door?  If this is the case, maybe you do have bipolar tendencies, otherwise, you just like to get attention.  The real question is, do you act the same way whether you're alone or in a group?


  2. Joe is totally wrong about the violent mood swings. My son is bipolar and he's never violent. Joe must be violent by nature. He is right about one thing you should act the same even when your alone or in a group. Stress brings on a manic mood, meaning, rapid talking and thinking that a person can not stop. On the flip side you can get depressed. But what your describing sounds like a typical teenager. Don't worry and I'm sure your grow out of it and I'm glad you have a friend you can talk to about anything.
