Do I Need Drivers License To Transfer Title?

In Texas, do I need to show a drivers license to transfer a title? If a license just gives me the right to drive, then why would I need it to own a car?

Also, what other forms do I need to transfer a title?

Yes, the driver's license proves who you are.  Its a legal ID.  You will also need proof of insurance too.

No.  You need a drivers license to drive a car, not to register one.  All you need is proper Identification and some cash
