I'm a landed immigrant in canada, and I came from India 6 years ago. I'm applying for citizenship in canada but didn't get an interview date yet. I'm planning to visit italy for vacation. Besides italian passport, do I also need an italian visa? Somebody please help me with this. If so how do I apply for it? Thank u sooo much

  1. Yes, you do.  The site below os for the Italian Embassy in Canada.  Fill in the blanks and it will show you that you do need a visa and tell you how to apply.

  2. According to the web-site Charlie posted as long as you are a Candaian residing in Canda you do not need a visa to visit Italy for less then 90 days.  Below is another site that confirms this.

  3. You need a visa and an medical insurance coverage I believe around 25.000Euro for each person.

You will not apply visa to Italy, but to one Shengen states member.
