  1. Sounds to me like it really screwed you in this deal. Maybe you could get good luck here.http://carinsurance.expertsupport.info/a...

  2. Here's the proper order for doing things:

    I've had good results here...

    Good Luck.

  3. Call the seller, get all of the info on the car you are buying - year, make, model, safety features, etc.  Call a local insurance agent, get quotes on the car, buy as much liability as you can afford, buy uninsured and underinsured motorist, buy medical payments or PIP.  Comprehensive and collision are optional if you do not have a loan.  An agent can advise you on these & what deductibles to choose.

Purchase the policy.  Call your DMV & find out about getting plates.  Do what you need to do to get plates (even if they are temporary) & bring them with you when you go to pick up the car.  You cannot drive on the old owners plates because they are no longer valid once the car is signed to you.  You also cannot drive on the old owners insurance for the same reason.

    Enjoy the new car!

  4. Shop for car insurance.

  5. You can try to get quotes, but no one can give you an accurate quote or sell you a policy without the actual VIN # of the vehicle.

  6. When you know the details of the car, the vin number, etc. call the company of your choice, they will give you a premium amount, you pay them and you are covered when you drive it.   Do not drive it without insurance
