Question:

Do I eat healthily? ?

For breakfast I eat one of the following:

-Cheerios

-Bran Flakes

-Corn Flakes

-Rice Crispies

-Weetabix

For Lunch I have either a tuna sandwhich or cheese flan with an ice bun. And I normally have a hot chocolate or a cup of tea aswell

When i get home I have a bowl of cereals.

Then a couple of hours late I have dinner which consists a meat or fish and about 3+ different veggies and we always have potatoes.

I don't exercise too often only in P.E lessons and every now and then outside of school, I am 15 now. Is evrything Ok for me?

  1. Yeah that's fine. I'm 16 and my diet consists of : Coca - Cola, McDonalds, Popcorn, Chocolate, Crisps, and Macorni Cheese.

    Odd, I only weigh 6 and a half stone o.0 LOL

  3. A range of foods for breakfast and dinner so not too much problems there. Lunch if you are eating similar foods each day you are not varying what you eat so maybe a look to add more varity there.. Adding fruit and vary up the desert to the lunch.

    Its recommended that you do 30 mins of moderate exercise a day so im afraid PE lessons will not cover it. You can try getting of a bus a few stops early.

  5. WELL IT SEEMS FINE BUT THE CHEESE FLAN IS FATTENING. SO TRY TO CUT THAT OUT AND EAT 5 TO SIX MEALS A DAY TO KEEP YOUR METABOLISM BURNING. 2 TO 3 HOURS APART FROM EACH OTHER. AND SMALL PORTIONS FOR EVERY MEAL..HOPE I HELPED

  6. Yeah, you should be okay. But the thing is, you eat a lot of cereal??

  7. Do you eat fruit? Add an apple or something to your breakfast. Watch all those carbs (cereals) because they will help you pack on pounds (eventually) if you're not exercising. Maybe replace the afternoon cereal with some fruit?

  9. Definitely need fruit in your diet. Reduce the potatoes to every other day. Lose the ice bun, maybe have a yogurt. You need to increase your exercise and if you don't do this at least make a good walk part of your daily routine.

  10. yea, other than eating potatoes everyday everyonce in a while is ok, but yea it seems fine!

  11. You're on a good track. If you are really interested in your nutrition, take a class (if they offer it at your school or at a local hospital/community center), or read books/health blogs. I suggest that you exercise about a half hour a day in order to keep your heart healthy. And be careful of what junk foods and sweets you eat, especially when you are hanging out with your friends because I know I eat less healthily around my friends than I do with my family. It's all about portion control when it comes to desserts and treats.

  12. You do have a good diet but something that would help is throwing strawberries or a banana in with your bowl of cereal. Or you could just eat some fruit sometime during the day for a snack.
