  1. I bought a new car once to see what it felt like.

I'd never do it agian though.

A used car has all the bugs worked out, and usually costs a lot less.

  2. Neither. You are looking for a 2-3 year old car with less than 35,000 miles on it. It will still have a factory warranty, probably drive and feel like new, but will have already taken the first two years depreciation hit.

    Good luck!

  3. I've bought 2 new cars(trucks really) in my life, and 4 used. I prefer a low mileage 4yr old.Mostly because by 4 the depreciating has slowed down.If a car is maintained it should last 10yr with minor repairs before they start falling apart. The more you spend on a vehicle the higher the taxes and insurance.Don't fall for that "highway miles" BS a mile is a mile. Also you can get a better deal usually from an individual than dealer

  4. I always buy new cars.  If you are a new driver I'd suggest you get a new one so that you know they aren't any unknown problems.

  5. start off with something used like a honda civic or toyota corolla, reliable good mpgs after youve had it for a good time you will be a better driver you dont wanna wreck a new car do u?
