Question:

Do I get him a sympathy card?

I work for an attorney who is pretty quiet. I just found out he lost his mother recently and is going out of state for the weekend. I already said my "I'm Sorry's". Should I still get him a sympathy card? We are not very close and I only have been working with him since April. I want to make a good impression on him but I don't want to be too much, ya know? Please help me with this. Thanks.

  1. I dont think its neccesary. COnsidering you have already said your sorry's and you dont know him all that well. I think it would be too pushy buying him a card.

  2. we`ll if you want to that would be nice

  3. yes, a card from anyone when you are grieving is nice.

  4. You don't have to since you did say, "I'm Sorry."

I'm sure he will probably appreciate it if you do get him one and won't think it's too much.

Just find the nicest sounding card and then sign your name.
