Do I get property damage compensation if I have no insurance in an accident where I was not at fault in NJ?

  1. Yes you can, if it was the other person's fault.  But if the insurance company feels that you were at fault or partially at fault they will come after you for reimbursement.

    If you were rear ended or your car was hit while parked, you should be fine.  If there's a question about liability, you better let sleeping dogs lie.


  2. if you where in an accident that wasnt your fault and the other person got a ticket to prove that then yes. But if they didn't get a ticket and you have to prove something you are better off not doing anything because they are going to request your insurance information when you call if the other person says you where at fault and there car was damaged.

    BTW..get some insurance

  3. you don't no insurance makes the accident your fault. You shouldn't be on the road without it
