Do I get this on my record?

Today I was with my friends and was bein a dumbass.. I got into peer pressure and agreed to steal somethin from a macys at a mall. Although I was involved.. the only part I had in it was holding the bag that my friend put the item in. Well.. I got caught and the camera showed that when my friend slipped the item in my bag, I kinda pushed it in a little more because it was sticking out. The guy made me purchase the item but I couldn't keep it. He also made me sign a paper that stated that I couldn't enter any Macys unless I brought a parent or until I turn 18 and that if I did, the cops would be contacted and I would be charged for trespassing and stealing the item that my friends tried to today. The form was titled "Trespassing ____(I don't really remember)" I have never had anything on my criminal record before and I'm completely clean. The cops were not contacted so does this mean that my record is still clean? He just said that he would send out a copy of the letter to like all Macys so that know that I am not allowed alone in that store. The state that I reside in is Virginia if that helps.

Sorry to say but I am pretty sure any crime goes on your 'Criminal Record'. Bad luck, just think of the positives:

-It isn't something MASSIVE

- I don't think it would stop you getting a job.

Next time don't give in to peer pressure.

Sorry, but I think crime stays on your record. No matter what the crime is. Never let peer pressure get to you. JUST SAY NO!
